I’m collecting and gathering media from the Blas-Travaganza last weekend, and some amazing pictures and recordings are starting to surface. I’m working on organizing everything myself, but I make this request: if you, or someone you know, captured any A/V from the show (of any kind), please let me know! I would love to incorporate it into the podcast / video project I’m now working on.

Now available for your listening pleasure: Blasphuphmus Radio’s 2006 Season! All the existing shows! I got through my math-rock phase, bring in acts like Dr. Frank, Wendy Atkinson, The New Bloods, Ashtray & Mustaphamond, and begin my collaborations with Ricardo Wang and “What’s This Called?” This was a busy, busy years, my friends, and you can find nearly all of it at this link. Enjoy!

Thanks again everyone for a magnificent Blas-Travaganza! I had a great time, and I’m plenty tired now to show for it. The photos I took (or have been sent to me) are up, but please keep ’em coming. Audio and video are coming soon. In the meantime: take care. You guys are wonderful, you guys are beautiful, and without you, there would be no show.

Be seeing you.

The fun’s not over yet! Tonight, Day 2 of the Blas-Travaganza contains some amazing performances, including Dead Air Fresheners, Alpha Protist, Snatch Wagon, Moth Hunter, and Gordon Taylor! This one’s free, and we’ll have download codes for our digital comp, Lost In The Supermarket, available at a reduced price! Join the fun, it should be amazing. Don’t Miss It!

Our Blas-Travaganza begins TODAY! Not only my birthday celebration, we have just released our first digital comp Lost In The Supermarket, available for the first time. Our show tonight at East End features The Nervous PDX, /root_DIR, a reunion performance of Cathead, Thrust, and headlining, Guyve. All being recorded for a live podcast. Help me celebrate the one year anniversary of Dick Clark’s death, at 9 PM sharp!

With 20 artists providing the entertainment, it’s hard to mention all the great talent on this comp in one post. Here’s a few more: The Nervous PDX, Toggy & The Hogwylds (Tage Savage), Library of Congress, a long-lost recording by The Miss, Dry Cleaners, The Graves of Gehenna, Sailboats & Moth Hunter (Trevor Rudd)! You can get the whole thing for $8, and admission to the East End show tomorrow!

A download code for Lost In The Supermarket is free with the admission price at the East End show. HOWEVER, if you purchase a download of our compilation before the show, and bring your receipt to the show, you get in free! It’s sort of like a pre-order deal. Either way, you get something extra for your dollar, and the Slim’s show is still FREE! At this point, you just CAN’T refuse.

The finishing touches on our first digital comp. are finally done, and I can reveal to you the beauty that is: Lost In The Supermarket! 18 artists providing original music, such as Guyve, /root_DIR, JJCnV, Dead Air Fresheners, Josh Jones, Nil Admirari, Honey Vizer, Iarvles, Paco Music, and a host of others. Don’t wander too close to the produce, and you’ll be just fine.

A number of celebrations are also happening along with our 15th Anniversary Blas-Travaganza. Two bands are reuniting, and we’re releasing our first digital comp. It’s also one year since Dick Clark’s death, and Guyve’s 20th year as a band. It’s also my 38th birthday celebration. Help me kick off the next 15 years by joining us this weekend for a party you won’t soon forget.
