Case Dismissed!
I need something loud today.
I have to say: The Adventures of Tin Tin was actually really good. While I’m not entirely convinced that the animators have succeeded in overcoming the Uncanny Valley phenomenon (the human characters were just, well, creepy), on the whole the film was fun, action-packed, and remained pretty true to the books in spirit. Very much worth checking out, if for no other reason than the action sequences, and the scenes with Snowy.

Tonight: I’m hitting up the 6pm showing of Tin Tin at the McMennamin’s with Mathias Hansson and a select group of other Tin Tin fans. Anyone else want to get in on the action?

Wait a minute: Superman, Batman & The Flash are all hanging out with Spider-Man? Is this the Almagam Universe, or something? (Thanks, Karly Rich!)
There just isn’t enough time to sit around and read John Hodgman books. I wonder what it would cost to pay him to read them to me?
Too young for BTO, too old for LMFAO. #RecordNerdProblems
I watch Fringe for the Walter scenes.
Happy VD Everyone.
There’s a Tom Lehrer song for every occasion.
I now have a record that plays from outside to in on Side A, and inside to out on Side B. I’m pretty stoked.
Not that I need to remind you, but we’re kicking ass and taking names over at Blasphuphmus Radio. Not only on the air, but IRL, too. A KPSU Benefit Show on the 10th, big changes in March & April, and all sorts of fun stuff that you’ll probably get excited about, too. Beat the rush and Like Us now. Every click helps.
Playing Hide & Seek in the KPSU Studios.
Guyve test pressing sounds pretty fuckin’ sweet.
Truth.
You need to listen to this. NOW!

Item: “Fun Facts” are always neither.
The modern age is marked by the fact that we have to spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about undergarments.
Holy. Crap. This probably means little to most people, but this is the biggest news I’ve heard in ages. Not since Morrison’s “Seven Soldiers” series have I been so excited about a mainstream comic that’s coming out. The 15 year old in me is clambering for someone to nerd out about this with. Any takers?
